There is something missing in the Japanese society, I tend to blame it on the wealth, on one side they have everything money can buy, on the other, they are pushed to excel at every aspect of their productive selfs.
So, when do they get to nurture their inner spaces?
perhaps there is something missing in japanese society, but i think it is within all societies and every individual.
it's finding a cause for yourself--trying to give some sort of meaning to your being like why you are alive. a purpose.
and when people realize (or believe) there is no purpose, i suppose they turn to suicide.
but that is where they should create and define their own meaning. it should be made for yourself. it for the individual to decide, learn, and define their purpose to bring upon meaning to their lives and all lives.
(a little albert camus from back in day, i guess.)
